Abstract

In 2021, during the COVID-19 pandemic, efforts to vaccination were made. We conducted a questionnaire survey regarding the adverse events of COVID-19 vaccination in two universities, namely, Nihon Institute of Medical Science and Josai University. We analyzed 2885 data that were obtained from the survey. At the first dose, injection site pain, myalgia, and fatigue were found to be predominant. At the second dose, injection site pain, fatigue, and fever were frequently reported. Most of the adverse events occurred more in the second dose than in the first dose. In both doses, majority of these adverse events were observed on day 2.
