We have established a Sport Medicine Care Club at the Nihon Institute of Medical Science. We aimed to conduct studentcentered conditioning and care for track and field athletes. Recently, we volunteered at the 73rd Annual Prefectural Rookie Track and Field Championships in order to examine tendencies and characteristics of high school track and field athletes who undergo conditioning and care. Based on our results, we created a conditioning manual. This guide describes the main body sites in which high school track and field athletes reported discomfort and methods, to mitigate these complaints. We believe that this conditioning manual will enable repetitive practice in track and field club activities. Furthermore, it will allow providing high school athletes with a fixed standard of conditioning and care.
